More homes were sold last month in Bloomington-Normal than last February, and average prices are up by as much as $17,000 for the first two months of the year from a year ago.
The average home sold in McLean County is for nearly $180,000. Lynn Nalewanski of the Bloomington-Normal Realtors Association says national experts predict good news for communities like ours.

Nalewanski also urges potential homebuyers to check with their lenders because federal housing loan qualifications were changed just last week and that could help people who were in her words -- "on the bubble."
