Men identified in car vs. mower accident

The McLean County Sheriff's Department has released the name of the two people involved in an accident Monday morning between a lawn mower and a car. Police say 75-year-old Jack Bales of Anchor was driving a riding lawnmower when he was hit by 68-year-old Kenneth Hilgemann of Colfax. The accident happened at the intersection of County Road 1900 North and 3700 East between Anchor and Colfax. Bales was taken to Carle Hospital in Champaign where he is in crtitical condition. The Sheriffs Department is still investigating.
