Festival of Trees: Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Celebrity trees, gingerbread village, unique centerpieces and wreaths. All items are available for bid in a silent auction. New enchanting musical light show, playing at different times throughout the festival. Many different special performances throughout the festival as well-proceeds benefit the Baby Fold.

The Blessings of the Table: Now through-November 17 at David Davis Mansion. Enjoy a tour of the David Davis Mansion all decorated for Thanksgiving.
4troops: Saturday at 7:30pm at the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts. Group comprising four U.S. combat veterans.
Holiday Open House: Saturday and Sunday in Uptown Normal. Check out the retail stores, enjoy a free horse and carriage ride around Uptown, free hot chocolate and be on the lookout for Santa Claus.
Jingle Bell Run/Walk: Sunday at 1 at Heartland Community College. Benefits the Arthritis Foundation. Wear a holiday themed costume, tie jingle bells to your shoelaces and run or walk a 5k route. $35/register fee.
Carlock Christmas Market 2012: Saturday from 10-3 at Carlock Elementary School. Event is sponsored by 5th grade class and all profits will go towards the year end class trip to St. Louis. Various crafts, household items and holidays treats available.
Lacrosse Clinic: Saturday from 4-5:30pm at Evergreen Racquet Club. Hands on learning from certified coaches and ISU lacrosse players, no experience is required or expected and the event is FREE. Open to youth aged 9 years-high school seniors.
Pictures with the Reindeer: Saturday from 1-3 at Miller Park Zoo. Have your family holiday picture taken with a Miller Park Reindeer. $20/family plus zoo admission.
Heyworth Christmas Parade: Sunday starting at 2.
