What's going on in Central Illinois weekend of November 19

1. The Blessings from the Table: Friday and Saturday at the David Davis Mansion. Check out the David Davis mansion all decorated for Thanksgiving.  

2. Holiday Treasures Fine Art Sale: Now-January 5 at the McLean County Arts Center. Over 100 locally and nationally known artists exhibiting paintings, glass, fiber, photography, jewelry, wood, ceramics and other seasonal items. 

3. Home for the Holidays: Now-December 31 at Conklin’s Dinner Theatre in Goodfield. 

4. Illinois Symphony Orchestra: Holidays in the Heartland: Friday at 8pm at the BCPA. Tony nominee and Broadway superstar Christiane Noll performs with the orchestra and other performing arts groups from the community. 

5. Redbird Volleyball vs. Southern Illinois: Friday night at 7:05pm at Redbird Arena.

6. America Recycles Day: Saturday from 8am-1pm in the Illinois Wesleyan Hansen Center Parking Lot. Recycle your electronics, household batteries, clothing and textiles, shoes and more. Residential waste only, no business waste will be accepted. No hazardous wastes, chemicals, paints, or large appliances will be accepted. 

7. Bloomington Blaze vs. Quad City: Saturday at the US Cellular Coliseum at 7:05pm. 

8. Redbird Football vs. North Dakota State: Saturday at Hancock Stadium at noon.

9. Redbird Volleyball vs. Evansville: Saturday at 7:05pm at Redbird Arena.

10. St. Jude Give Thanks Walk: Saturday in Uptown Normal. 7am registration, 8:15 the walk starts. 

11. 3rd Sunday Market: Sunday from 8am-4pm at the Interstate Center. Over 450 vendors. Come shop, eat and socialize. $6/adult.  13 and under free. 

12. Holiday Pictures with the Reindeer: Saturday from 1-3pm at Miller Park Zoo. Have your family holiday picture taken with a Miller Park Zoo Reindeer. $20/family plus zoo admission.

13. 5k canned food: Sunday at Tipton Trails. Registration begins at 1, race beings at 2. Each runner or walker asked to bring canned food items. All items will be donated to the Clare House.
