5. Noon Year’s Eve with the Children’s Discovery Museum: Monday at 9am. Celebrate Hawaiian-style for the biggest party of the year. Face painting by the zoo lady, noisemakers and games! Confetti countdown at noon as you hula into the “noon” year. Cost $2 members/$8 non-members.

6. Annual Snowbird Open: Highland Park Golf Course on Monday from 9am-noon. Nine hole event is open to anyone. Registration begins at 9am. $2 fee.
