BLOOMINGTON - A Bloomington woman who's accused of choking her mother-in-law to death has pleaded guilty to hiding the body.
Misook Wang entered the plea Monday as jury selection began on the first-degree murder charge. That trial is moving forward, and Nowlin has pleaded not guilty.
Wang allegedly lured Wenlan Tyda to Bloomington in September 2011, killed her and then hid the body.
Jury selection began Monday morning with Judge Robert Freitag asking two groups of 15 potential jurors whether they knew any of the potential witnesses in the case.
Defense attorney Brian McEldowney expects the trial to last all week.
