I don’t know if I’ve ever had the pleasure of one of my Forums falling on Valentine’s Day, but I’m glad it did this year. That’s because it gives me the opportunity to extend the wishes of the day to my favorite valentine, my beautiful wife.
And, I think it is also the perfect time for each and every one of us to express our feelings of love to our significant others, whether it be a spouse or parent or sibling or child. Love seems to be a commodity in short supply these days, which is why in my humble opinion the world is in such sad shape.
Just imagine if we all took time this day to extend expressions of love rather than expressions of anger and hate. If you don’t have anyone familiar to you then why not express these feelings to co-workers, neighbors, even total strangers?
Do it in person, or over the phone, or through your own choice of media, but just do it.
It certainly can’t hurt, and who knows, it just might help put all of us in a better mood.
