PONTIAC - A stabbing incident that hospitalized two Pontiac women remains under investigation.
Major Dan Davis of the Pontiac Police Department said officers were called to 303 W. North early Tuesday morning. At the scene they found a 76-year-old woman suffering from a stab wound to the neck. In a nearby bathroom, a 52-year-old woman was unresponsive.
Both women were transported to OSF St. James Medical Center in Pontiac. Their identities haven’t been released.
The older woman was reportedly in stable condition shortly after being admitted, while the other woman had more serious medical issues. Reports say one of the women was transported to OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
