Saturday's MVC tournament semifinal matchup between Illinois State University and Creighton will likely be the final time the Bluejays and Redbirds meet as conference basketball foes.  

 

After several outlets reported on Friday that Creighton will leave for the Big East next week, ISU will look to send the Jays out with a loss.  

 

Coverage starts at 4 p.m. with WJBC's Dick Luedke on WJBC AM 1230 and FM 93.7.

 

The Illinois Wesleyan University Titans continue their run in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday night with a second round game in Naperville against North Central College.

 

The Titans topped Wash U. last weekend, but Illinois Wesleyan lost to North Central in the final game of the regular season, which snapped the Titans' conference unbeaten streak at the time.

 

WJBC's Eric Stock and Joel Swanson have the call on WJBC AM 1230 and FM 93.7 at 7 p.m.

 

The St. Louis Cardinals continue Spring Training Saturday with a matchup against the Tigers. Pregame coverage on WJBC AM 1230 and FM 93.7 starts at 11:45 a.m.

 

Also Saturday, the Redbird baseball team faces Bowling Green at 12 p.m. in the first of a doubleheader, with the second game scheduled for 2 p.m. The games will be played at the Corn Crib because of a construction delay at Duffy Bass Field. Listen to the games on WJBC.com.

 

The Redbird softball series this weekend has been postponed because of poor field conditions.

 

Finally Saturday, the Bloomington Blaze return to the U.S. Cellular Coliseum to face the Denver Cutthroats at 7 p.m. on WJBC.com.
