BLOOMINGTON - Illinois Wesleyan shot 70 percent from the floor and had four players in double figures as they defeated overmatched North Park 88-44 at the Shirk Center Wednesday night.
North Park played without star player Mark Holmes and were overwhelmed by the taller and more physical Titans throughout the contest. Illinois Wesleyan was able to open up a 19 point halftime lead and then outscored the Viking 44-19 in the second half to cruise to the victory.
The Titans completed their eleventh consecutive CCIW victory which earns them at least a share of the conference championship. Victor Davis led the way for the Titans with 13 points, as twelve different Titan players ended up in the scoring column on the night.
The Titans improved to 19-3 on the season and look to gain an outright CCIW title as they travel to Kenosha to take on Carthage on Saturday.
