BLOOMINGTON - Country superstar Tim McGraw will be performing in Central Illinois this summer.

McGraw was announced Monday as the next act in Lou's LaGrotto Summer Concert Series for Charity in LaSalle-Peru.

The restaurant organizes charity concerts each summer. Last year, Kid Rock performed for more than 10,000 fans at Illinois Valley Regional Airport in Peru. Some of the other past concerts in the charity series include Trace Adkins, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum and Zac Brown Band.

McGraw will perform July 6 at the airport. Ticket sales information will be released at a later date. Sister station B104 is a media partner and will have tickets for giveaway.

Country artist Brantley Gilbert will also perform as part of the concert series on August 3. Those tickets go on sale March 16.

Also announced Monday, Darius Rucker, Rodney Atkins and Jana Kramer will play June 29 at the CornCrib in Normal in that venue's second summer concert series.
