With a string of hit country singles in the early 80's, Rosanne Cash formed her own identity, with a country-pop style different from her famous father Johnny.
Since her father's death in 2003, Rosanne Cash has been reflecting more on Johnny Cash's legacy and his personal impact on her work. Her most recent album "The List" was compiled from songs Cash gave his daughter to learn when when she was just starting to become a songwriter.
