JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Police in Florida are still searching for answers after a Chicago Bears fan was murdered for allegedly talking to another man's wife.
Jacksonville County Police Lieutenant Rob Schoonover said Matthew Hinson, 27, went into a jealous rage then slit 42-year-old William "Chris" Pettry's throat.
Schoonover also called Hinson's actions on early Sunday "cold-blooded" because he apparently showed no emotion during the incident.
Pettry was visiting Jacksonville from Lake Villa to see the Bears take on the Jaguars. In a post on Facebook, his wife said she's "numb, angry and very lost" over the murder.
