Scott Thompson
Scott Thompson, of Arrowsmith, Ill. passed away at 3:14 a.m. on Nov. 30, 2012 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
His funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Colfax. Fr. Carl LoPresti will be officiating. Cremation will be accorded following the services.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at Duffy-PIls Memorial Home, Colfax.
Memorials may be made to a fund established through the Arrowsmith Fire Department for Scott’s children.
Scott was born Jan. 15, 1971 in Princeton, the son of Roger and Kathy Doran Weitzel. He married Andrea Morman on March 23, 1996 in Princeton. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Katherine and Nathaniel at home; grandparents, Oneida Doran and Frieda Weitzel both of Mendota, Gladys Bickett of Princeton and Virginia Anderson of Sheffield, parents, Roger and Kathy Weitzel of Mendota, mother and father - in -laws, Gene and Yvonne Morman, Barbara (David Dzurisin) Morman both of Princeton, sister, Tina (Rick) Stevenson of Mendota, sister-in-laws, Jeanette Morman of Princeton and Diane (Kent) Beyer of Davenport, IA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Scott last worked for Vostermans Ventilation in Bloomington and was a part-time EMT for Hudson Fire Department.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Colfax, Arrowsmith Fire Department where he was the Captain of Truck 180, and was a EMT with the Eastern McLean County Ambulance Association.

Norma Zeigler
Norma P. Zeigler, 90 of Normal, Ill. died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at 2:34 p.m. at Villa Health Care East, Sherman, Ill.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at Calvert and Metzler Memorial Home in Bloomington. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the memorial home. She will be interred at Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington. Chaplain Cliff Close will officiate.
Mrs. Zeigler was born Sept. 7, 1922 in Jutt, Ill. to Wilbur and Violet Bell Hall. She married Harold Zeigler on June 9, 1940 in St. Charles, Mo. He died Aug. 13, 1966.
Surviving are son Ralph (Karen) Zeigler in Morton, Ill., two daughters, Patricia Ann (Gary) Ramey in Freeport and Linda Jones in Morton. She has five surviving brothers and sisters, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Zeigler formerly worked for Chadband's Jewelry and Miller's True Value Hardware in Bloomington and retired from the housekeeping department of the Illinois House in Bloomington. She was a member of the Bloomington Moose, John H. Kraus Post 454 V.F.W. Auxiliary and was a charter member of the Bloomington Emblem Club 432 of the Elks Lodge.
