NORMAL - Normal Police have arrested a man on charges that he tried to solicit a child online.

Phillip Rolfs, 49, is being held in the McLean County Jail.

Police say Rolfs' arrest stems from an investigation that was done in cooperation with the McLean County State's Attorney's Office and the Will County Attorney High Technology Crimes Unit.

Normal Police are seeking charges of indecent solicitation of a child, solicitation to meet a child and grooming.
