NORMAL - The Normal Police Department is once again investigating an armed robbery at the College Avenue Kroger.
Assistant Chief Eric Klingele said a man walked into the Kroger at 3:30 a.m. Saturday and robbed the store at gunpoint, fleeing on foot with cash. He said the suspect is described as a white male, about 30 years old, 5'11 with an average build and wearing layers of clothes including a fur lined hoodie. He said the suspect's face was also covered with something.
No one was hurt. The same Kroger was robbed at gunpoint on Jan. 30. Police are still investigating that robbery.
Klingele said the department will release more information soon, possibly including video stills from the store.
