The MCLP recruits and forms diverse, talented teams of volunteers to help local nonprofits with special projects. The MCLP team called "History Avengers" was assigned to the mansion's nonprofit support group to help it develop a fundraising strategy for long term support in light of the state's ongoing budget crisis.
The teams will present its final Community Project Presentations (open to the public) on Saturday, March 9, 8-10:45 a.m. in the Heartland Community College, Astroth Auditorium.
The public is also invited to the annual graduation celebration on April 13, featuring Azim Khamisa – author, activist and inspirational speaker.
You will meet each of this year's MCLP teams during the midday show on WJBC through February.
