NORMAL - A man from Normal has been upgraded to fair condition after being pinned between two cars in a crash near the Camelback Bridge.
Police say George Flynn, 68, was inspecting the damage from a two-car accident on Virginia Avenue near Linden Street at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday when another car came over the bridge and rear-ended one of the stopped cars because it was unable to stop on rain-slick deck.
Flynn then became trapped. He is recovering at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
