NORMAL - Illinois State head football coach Brock Spack and his staff will publicly announce the 2013 Redbird recruiting class at a National Signing Day party to be held at Alexander’s Steakhouse in Normal on Feb. 6.

The event is free and open to the public, with light appetizers and a cash bar provided by Alexander’s.

The annual event will begin at 5:30 p.m., with a short meet-and-greet session before Spack and his coaching staff provides commentary and recruiting insight on each of the Redbird prospects, with video clips of the newest Redbirds available for viewing.

“As a staff, we look forward to the party at Alexander’s each year because it is a fun way to end a very long day,” Spack said. “The people at Alexander’s have been great to our program and the athletics department as a whole, and this event has become something I think a lot of people look forward to each year. We had a great turnout last year and hope we can have another big crowd again this year. It’s fun for us to talk to the fans, season ticket holders and alumni who come out about our new players, and we are excited for them to help us celebrate our new signees.”
