The Redbird men's basketball team takes its 9-3 record into the Missouri Valley Conference opener on Sunday, as ISU travels to Terre Haute, Indiana to face the Indiana State Sycamores.
The Redbirds are 15-16 in league openers since joining the Valley in 1981-82 and ISU has won four of its last five conference openers.
Redbird Preview starts at 11 a.m. with tip just after noon on WJBC AM 1230 and on WJBC.com.
The Illinois State women's basketball team plays its final game before opening conference play Sunday. The ISU women are also in Indiana, at Butler for a 1 p.m. tip-off against the Bulldogs. WJBC's Zach Dietmeier has the call on WJBC.com.
Meanwhile, the Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team plays its final non-conference game Sunday, as the Titans complete the Indiana-traveling trifecta. IWU is in Franklin to face Franklin College.

Wrapping up Sunday's sports action, the Chicago Bears are clawing for a postseason berth and must win in Detroit against the Lions to have a shot at an NFC Wildcard berth.
The Bears will also need Green Bay to beat the Vikings in order to slip into the postseason Sunday.
