The Redbird men's basketball team has won five of its last six games, and Illinois State will try to continue its resurgence Saturday in Omaha, Nebraska against No. 16 Creighton.
The Redbirds are coming off a 94-86 win at Drake on Wednesday night. Illinois State overcame a 17-point deficit for the win.
Creighton has won the last six meetings in the series, including a game earlier this year at Redbird Arena, and last year's Missouri Valley Conference Championship game.
WJBC's Eric Stock and Mike Matthews have the call starting at 8 p.m. with Redbird Preview. Tipoff is slated for 9:05 p.m.
In other college basketball action Saturday, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's basketball team is at Carthage and can clinch the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin title outright with a win. Coverage of the game starts at 7 p.m. on WJBC.com.
Also Saturday, the Redbird softball season continues in Waco, Texas in the Getterman Classic. Illinois State will face Sam Houston State in a rematch of the season opener. Listen to the game on WJBC.com at 1:30 p.m.
