NORMAL - Illinois State University's College of Education is again among the top 100 graduate schools in the nation.
The U.S. News and World Report ranking were released Monday. ISU is now ranked 91.
"This kind of ranking gives us a different footing from which to speak and talk about what's good about the practice of teacher preparation," said associate dean Amee Adkins.
Illinois State was ranked 84th in last year's poll. The previous year ISU was ranked 104th.
"To learn that we're once again in the top 100 is reassuring news that what we're doing is working well for our students and for the reputation of our program," she said.
The rankings are based on statistics that measure the school's faculty, research and students.
