NORMAL - Illinois State's men's basketball team will be without its second-leading scorer until further notice.
Coach Dan Muller announced Wednesday afternoon that Redbird senior guard Tyler Brown had been suspended indefinitely for "conduct detrimental to the team."
“We have standards for our program, and Tyler has violated those standards," Muller said in a release.
Brown has started all 16 games this season and is averaging 15 points per game. Brown was held scoreless in Tuesday's loss at Missouri State, which dropped ISU to 0-4 in Valley play.
