NORMAL - Codee Schlipf scored 18 points and Rebekah Ehresman added 16 as the El Paso-Gridley girls took home third place in the Class 2A tournament Saturday with a 55-46 victory over Walther Lutheran at Redbird Arena.

The Titans ended the season with a 30-2 record, while Walther Luthern finished 26-8.

The Titans, who shot 43 percent from the field, were able to hold Walther Lutheran to 31 percent.

EPG's finish is the best in school history.
