NORMAL - The Redbird men's basketball team fell to 0-2 in Missouri Valley Conference play on Wednesday after a 79-72 loss to No. 16 Creighton at Redbird Arena.

Illinois State was led by Tyler Brown and Bryant Allen, who each finished with 15 points. Creighton got 18 from Ethan Wragge, including 6-9 from behind the arc.

The Redbirds continue Valley play Saturday at home against Northern Iowa.
