The St. Louis Cardinals will play the first postseason game in the nation's capital since 1933 on Wednesday. The Washington Nationals host game 3 of the National League Division Series at Nationals Ballpark.
Chris Carpenter, who won the clinching games in the 2011 National League Division Series and World Series, makes only his fourth start of the season following his faster-than-expected recovery from a rib injury.
He'll face Edwin Jackson who was a key pitcher for the Cardinals during their postseason run last fall.
WJBC 1230 AM and 93.7 FM will have the play-by-play with Mike Shannon and John Rooney starting with pregame at 11:12 a.m.
