NORMAL - Broadway Street in Uptown Normal will reopen this week.

Town Engineer Gene Brown said the small portion between College and North Street is closed for the Commerce Bank project.

He said contractors have been trying to connect water and sewer lines, but couldn't last week due to inclimate weather.

Brown said the work should finish this week.
