BLOOMINGTON - Fans of Bloomington grassroots racer Jason Feger have one week to help him win a $50,000 sponsorship prize through the Search for a Champion sponsorship contest.

Feger was awarded $5,000 when he named a finalist from among 160 participants in the first round of nationwide balloting last month. Each participant submitted a two-minute video entry.

Over 81,000 votes were cast by racers and fans and final judging was led by NASCAR racer and Champion spokesman Kevin Harvick.

Voting continues through March 24. The winner will be announced April 2.

Those who register and vote will be entered into a sweepstakes for 200 free Champion T-shirts as well as posters autographed by Harvick.
