BLOOMINGTON - A Bloomington attorney and Illinois State graduate is the newest associate judge in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.
Judges in the circuit, which includes McLean, Livingston, Logan, Woodford and Ford Counties, voted John Goldrick as associate judge. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Judge Rebecca Foley. She was elected circuit judge in November to the seat that was held by the retiring Judge James Souk.
Goldrick got his undergraduate at Illinois State University in 1987 and his Juris Doctor in 1991 from Mississippi College in Jackson, MS.
He will be sworn in in January.
