BPD asks for help solving homeless man's murder

BLOOMINGTON - Bloomington Police are asking the public for help in solving the apparent murder of a homeless man.

Police said Robert Jeronimus, 48, was found dead under the Center Street bridge on Aug. 16 with injuries allegedly associated with a beating.

Police said anyone with information about the crime should call the department's Crime and Intelligence Unit hotline at (309) 434-2963 or Crime Stoppers of McLean County at (309) 828-1111.

Police said tipsters may remain anonymous.
