BLOOMINGTON – Seven high school football teams in the WJBC 1230 AM and FM and the WJEZ 98.9 FM coverage area remain undefeated after three weeks of the regular season.
That group includes Normal West of the Big 12 Conference, University High in the Corn Belt Conference along with LeRoy, Tri-Valley, Ridgeview, Tremont and Flanagan-Cornell in the Heart of Illinois Conference.
Flanagan-Cornell has the highest scoring offense with 157 points for a 52.3 average. LeRoy is a tick benhind at 52.0 while Tri-Valley is averaging 45.3 points per game.
Defensively, Tremont has allowed just one touchdown (six points) for a 2.0 per game average. Ridgeview has allowed just 12 points, while Tri-Valley and Flanagan-Cornell have given up 13 points.
