WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is again proud to present the High School Athletes of the Week.

Here are the winners for the week of March 4, 2013:

Adam McGinnis - Normal West Boys Basketball

Adam led the Wildcats with 15 points in back-to-back games as West defeated Bradley-Bourbonnais and Normal Community to claim a Class 4A Regional title.

Keita Bates-Diop - U-High Boys Basketball

Keita hit the game winning shot to send the Pioneers into the Class 3A Bloomington Regional finals with a win over Bloomington and scored 20 in the championship game in a 45-42 loss to No. 6-ranked Lincoln.
