NORMAL- Normal West beat Bloomington High School 52-33 in the third day of competition in the Intercity Girls Basketball Tournament at Normal Community High Shool on Friday night.
The Wildcats were in command throughout the game, and led 24-15 at halftime. Normal West never lost the lead in the second half en route to their 29 point victory.
"You just got to find people that are consistently going to play under pressure. I think that's what we're looking for here," Normal West head coach Angie Codron said after the game.
The Wildcats were led by Tia Robertson's 18 point performance.
"I just think that's what we need from her," Codron said of Robertson. "That's her role on this team, to produce on both ends of the floor, and that's exactly what this team needs her to do and that's exactly what she did."
Normal West takes on Normal Community next Tuesday, Novermber 20 at 7:30 PM.
