The undefeated U-High Pioneers can match the program's record for wins and advance to the state football quarterfinals for the first time since 1995.

U-High visits Washington in the second round of the 5A IHSA football playoffs.

Blaze hockey

The Bloomington Blaze take a franchise-best three-game win streak into the final game of their five-game season-opening homestand. The Blaze host the Quad City Mallards in the first of 18 matchupess between the in-state rivals. Greg Halbleib has the call at 7 p.m. here on WJBC.com.

Redbird volleyball

The Illinois State volleyball team will host Missouri State. The Redbirds maintain a half-game lead over the Bears for fifth place in the Missouri Valley Conference at 7-5. WJBC.com has the play-by-play at 7 p.m.
