NORMAL - The Illinois State women's basketball team used double-digit performances from three Redbirds to down Milwaukee on Thursday night.

Janae Smith led ISU with 18 points, Jamie Russell chipped in 17 and Candace Sykes hit 16 in the 75-54 win at Redbird Arena.

Illinois State improved to 4-2 and will face Michigan on Dec. 5.
