WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is again proud to present the High School Athletes of the Week.

Here the winners for the week of Sept. 24, 2012:

Emily Brelsfoard - Normal West Cross Country

Emily reclaimed the Intercity Cross Country title by finishing the 3-mile run in 17 minutes, 47 seconds. She also won the race in 2010.

Turner Reid - Normal West Golf

Turner birdied the second playoff hole to earn medalist honors at the Big 12 Tournament at Hickory Point Golf Course in Forsyth. Reid led the Wildcats to a third-place finish.
