NORMAL - The Normal Police Department wants your feedback on job performance in the community.

Chief Rick Bleichner said the citizens feedback survey is all about making your experience better.

"We want to look at the services we provide to the community and how we perform those services," said Bleichner. "We will then compile that information and then utilitize it to improve the services we provide."

Chief Bleichner said you can help out the department in many locations including online and by mail.

"We're sending it out to between 100 and 150 people who have had contact with our department recently through police reports or other activity," said Bleichner. "We'll also send those to local school districts and business associations."

He said the survey is just another way to improve service and communication, helping the department as well as the community.

"We want to seek feedback from the community, and we want to take it, analyze it, and act on it."

The survey will be available starting Monday. You can find it online at normal.org/npd or by calling the police department.
