CLINTON - A DeWitt County Board member has posted bond after being arrested Wednesday on two counts of felony aggravated battery.

County sheriff Jered Shofner said DeWitt County Board member Terry Hoffman, 55, was arrested after allegedly getting into an altercation with county Emergency Management Agency Director Teresa Barnett.

6th Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Dan Flannel said there was probable cause for Hoffman's arrest. 

Hoffman will be back in court on Jan. 16.
