BLOOMINGTON - Central Illinois could see another round of snow on Monday night into Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for McLean, Tazewell and Woodford counties until Tuesday afternoon.

Freezing rain will develop across Central Illinois early Tuesday morning and then will transition into a rain/snow mix by the morning commute. About one tenth of an inch of ice accumulation is expected.

One inch of snow is expected along the I-55 corridor, with 2-4 inches expected along the Illinois River, with heavier precipitation farther west.

Strong winds up to 30 miles per hour could affect visibility Tuesday morning.
