Free Dentistry Day:  Friday from 8-2pm at Bloomington Smile Center and Redbird Dental Care. Patients who may not receive basic or routine dental care can choose from either one free cleaning, extraction or filling. Appointments will be accepted on a first come first served basis Friday. 

Redbird Volleyball vs. Creighton: Redbird Arena on Friday at 7pm. 

Zoot Dance Parties/Halloween Bash: Children’s Discovery Museum Friday from 5:30-7:45pm. Kids will learn basic dance movements and choreography that teaches rythem, timing and beat. $10/member, $14/non-member. 

The All American Rejects: Braden Auditorium on Friday at 8pm. 

Illinois Wesleyan University Homecoming: All weekend long. Events going on include:

IWU Civic Orchestra Homecoming Concert Friday at 7:30pm at the BCPA. IWU alums $5, IWU students, free, all other tickets/$10

Kids Fun Run Saturday at 8am. IWU Track at Wilder Field. $7 fee includes T-shirt and goodie bag. Also going on Captain Ryan A. Beaupre ’95 Memorial Scholarship 5k Run/Walk beginning at 8:15am on the track. $30 with a shirt.

Family Fun on the Quad: Saturday from 8:30-11:30am on the Quad. Titan pep band, Tommy the Titan, Zoo Crew face painters, balloon artist, and more.

Operation Santa ‘Put a Sock In It:’ BHS will be participating in Operation Santa ‘Put a Sock In It’ at this Fridays 7pm home football game. Fans are encouraged to bring packages of new white or black socks to the game that will go in the toe of each of the Operation Santa Christmas stockings. All veterans and active military are invited to the game at no charge, just show military ID.

Artists Exchange Exhibit: Going on thru October 19^th at Eaton Gallery on 411 N.Center in Bloomington. Paintings of Jared Lacy and the sculptures of B. Thomas Lytle on display. 

Capitol Steps: Saturday at 7:30pm at the BCPA. Former Congressional staffers perform a mix of political songs and political satire commentary.

Redbird Football vs Youngstown State: Saturday at Hancock Stadium. Kickoff at 1pm.

Twin City Cruisers 20^th Anniversary Cruise-In: Saturday at the Shoppes at College Hills from 5-8:30pm. Theme: Smokey and the Bandit(Firebirds, Pontiacs). Door Prizes, 50/50 drawing and awards to the top 3 entries. All types of vehicles welcome for general parking. 

Redbird Soccer vs. Indiana State: Sunday at 1pm at Adelaide Street Field.

Morningstar United Methodist Church 7^th Annual Pumpkin Patch: 10am-dusk Monday-Saturday. 12-dusk Sunday. Located at Fort Jesse Road in Normal, ¼  mile East of Airport Road. Come get your pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn and mini’s. Plus home baked-goods and handmade crafts.
