BLOOMINGTON- In an effort to reach every customer State Farm has launced an aerial outreach campaign over areas impacted by Sandy.
Planes flying over the impacted areas from sunrise to sunset are pulling banners of their 1-800-SFCLAIM(732-5246) number.
One plane will cover Staten Island, Long Island, Metro NYC coastal areas and 5-10 miles inland from the coast, as well as up and down the Hudson River. A second plane will cover the coast of New Jersey and 5-10 miles inland from the coast.
Spokeswomen Holly Anderson said as of Saturday, 63,500 homeowner claims and 12,200 auto claims have been filed.
These are the number of claims State Farm is reporting to date. Losses continue to be reported.
