Beatrice L. Dobbs, 95, of Pontiac, IL passed away at 10:37 pm on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Asta Care Center of Pontiac.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Pontiac. Rev. Heidi Punt will officiate. There will be no visitation. Burial will follow services in the South Side Cemetery in Pontiac. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church in Pontiac.

Beatrice was born March 17, 1917 in Lamoure County, ND a daughter of Harry and Henrietta (Smedley) Studebaker. When she was two years old the family moved to Illinois. She married Emmett D. Dobbs on January 19, 1946 in Joliet. He passed away on July 13, 1972.

She is survived by her son: Dennis E. Dobbs of Pontiac; one daughter: Mary Sue Patterson of Pontiac; and two grandsons: Jordon and Justin Patterson. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and two sisters.

Beatrice was educated in the Pontiac Schools. She was employed by School District 429 as the crossing guard at Ladd Scholl and later as custodian. She retired in 1986. She was a dressmaker.

She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Pontiac and a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Patricia Ann “Patsy” Frame

Patricia Ann “Patsy” Frame 64 of Kempton, died AT 4:12 pm on Wednesday February 27, 2013 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington

There will be a graveside service on Monday March 4, 2013 at Kempton Hill Cemetery, Kempton, Illinois. A visitation will be held on Sunday March 3, 2013 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cullom. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Cullom is handling the arrangements.

She was born in Pontiac, Illinois on November 23, 1948 a daughter of Cecil and Jannett (Johnson) Blundy. She married Michael Frame on August 10, 1968, in Emington, Illinois, he survives. He is also survived by her mother: Jannett Blundy of Forrest. Two sons: Chad Frame of Kempton and Jeff (Rachel) Frame of Hunter Army Airfield, GA. Two daughters: Tammy (Phil) Line of Kankakee and Brenda (Kim) Miller of Cullom. Brother: Randy Blundy of Wilton, IA. Sister: Colleen Blundy of Forrest. seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and her sister Annette Blundy.

Patsy was retired from RR Donnelly in Dwight and recently worked as a cook for the Tri Point School District, she loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, and was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to travel.
