BLOOMINGTON - The Multicultural Leadership Program in McLean County recruits diverse, talented professionals to team up and help local nonprofits with special projects.

This week, we talked with Team Heartthrob which is helping the Illinois Heart & Lung Foundation with reinvigorating its AED program. That stands for Automated External Defibrillator.

The teams will present their final Community Project Presentations (open to the public) on Saturday, March 9, 8-10:45 a.m. in the Heartland Community College, Astroth Auditorium.

If your not-for-profit group would like to consider applying for next year's class, a recruitment reception will be held following the presentations at 11 a.m.

You will meet each of the teams during the midday show on WJBC through February.
