PEORIA - A Bloomington man has been indicted on a federal child pornography charge.

Officials said Pablo Valencia-Lopez was charged Thursday with one count of receiving child pornography. Lopez allegedly received the pornography in August.

Lopez appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge John A. Gorman and remains in custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.

The case was investigated by the Bloomington Police Department and the U.S. Secret Service. If convicted, Lopez could spend up to 20 years in prison.

Prosecutors also announced Thursday that Christopher O. Lutz, of Princeton, has also been indicted on one count of possession of child pornography in June 2012. The cases are not related.
