BLOOMINGTON - The American Red Cross of the Heartland's "Saluting Our Heroes" breakfast is right around the corner and tickets are on sale now.
The event is November 8th from 7:30 to 9am at the Doubletree by Hilton in Bloomington. The breakfast honors members of the community that work to make life better, such as saving someone's life or strengthening the community.
The "WJBC Don Munson Spirit of McLean County" award will be presented for the 35th time this year to recognize an individual's contributions to improving initiative, industry, imagination, and compassion.
