Kristi collected a career-high 29 points and 13 rebounds as the Iron rolled over Decatur MacArthur.

Shaun Wolfe--Bloomington Swimming
Shaun set a new school record in the 100 breaststroke while participating in two winning relays during the Big 12 Conference meet.

Carly Norton--Central Catholic Basketball
Carly tied the school's three-point record with seven from long range as she led the Saints with 23 points in a win over Olympia.

Kyle McAvoy--Bloomington Wrestling
Kyle was named the co-MVP in the Big 12 Conference meet as he captured the heavyweight title.

 

Paige Nord--Ridgeview Basketball
Paige led the Mustangs in scoring as they set team and championship game records on their way to capturing the 30th McLean County Tournament title.

Michael Emberton--Lexington Basketball
Michael collected 54 points in two games of the 99th McLean County Tournament to become the 20th player in the school's 1,000-point club.

 

 

Allie Norton--Central Catholic Basketball
Allie collected 22 points in a win over Olympia to go over the 1,000-point mark in her career during her junior season.

Alex Bee--U-High Wrestling
Alex went 3-0 during the Intercity tournament, and followed that up with a title in the Pioneers' George Girardi Invitational while being voted the meet's outstanding wrestler.

Jess Reinhart--Central Catholic Basketball
Jess recorded 28 points and 11 rebounds to lead the top-ranked Saints to their 49th consecutive regular season win, 64-49 at St. Thomas More in Champaign.

John Williamson--U-High Swimming
John won the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly and was on two winning relay teams as the Pioneers won the Charger Invitational at Champaign.

Allie Norton--Central Catholic Basketball
Allie scored 31 points, including a school-record seven three-pointers, while leading the Saints in a 64-39 win over Brimfield to win the Class 1A-2A division of the State Farm Holiday Classic.

Grant Touma--Calvary Christian Academy Basketball
Grant collected 92 points, 67 rebounds, 25 assists, 17 blocks and 14 steals in four games of the Arthur Christian Holiday Classic, as Calvary took fifth place with a 3-1 record.

Sarah Butler--Ridgeview Basketball
Sarah scored 17 points on 7-for-9 shooting in a win over Dee-Mack and contributed 22 points, four assists and three steals in a victory over Fieldcrest.

Shaun Wolfe--Bloomington Swimming
Shaun won the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke and was part of the winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays in the Bloomington Invitational.

 Jess Reinhart--Central Catholic Basketball
Jess registered 26 points and 10 rebounds in an 84-36 win over Winchester West Central in Springfield.

Spencer Campbell--Heyworth Basketball
Spencer chipped in 31 points in the Hornets' 67-61 Heart of Illinois Conference win over Tri-Valley.

 Kristi Schmidt--Normal Community Basketball
Kristi recorded 25 points and 20 rebounds in a 68-56 win over Decatur Eisenhower.

Mitch Styczynski--U-High Basketball
Mitch registered 24 points (including the game-clinching free throw) and 10 rebounds during an Intercity tournament win over Central Catholic.

 

Katy Seibring--Normal Community Basketball
Katy led the Iron with 23 points in a 51-42 Intercity Tournament win over Normal West.

Spencer Campbell--Heyworth Basketball
Spencer collected 26 points during a 64-44 Olympia tournament victory over Roanoke-Benson.

 

Lindsay Gendron--Normal Community Swimming
Lindsay brought home a state championship in the 100-yard freestyle and a second place in the 200-yard individual medley, both in school record times.

T.J. Stinde--Lexington Football
T.J. tied the state record for touchdowns and broke the state rushing record on the same play during the Minutemen's 27-20 victory over Lena-Winslow, earning a spot in the Class 1A state championship game.

 Dakota Springer--Heyworth Volleyball
Dakota was one of two unanimous selections to this year's Heart of Illinois Conference first team in volleyball.

T.J. Stinde--Lexington Football
T.J. rushed 37 times for 258 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Alexis United to advance to the Class 1A semifinals.

 Kelly Curran--Central Catholic Cross Country
Kelly repeated as the Class 1A individual champion in the state final race at Detweiller Park in Peoria as she covered the course in 17:46.

James Clay--U-High Cross Country
James led a strong contingent of Pioneer runners, finishing 14th overall in 15:30 as U-High finished as runner-up in Class 2A.

Marie O'Leary--Normal Community Cross Country
On a muddy course that required strength, Marie captured the individual title in Saturday's Class 3A Sectional race at Maxwell Park in Normal.

T.J. Stinde--Lexington Football
T.J. picks up another weekly honor thanks to his 39-carry, 338-yard rushing night as the Minutemen held off Fisher 23-14 in the first round of the Class 1A playoffs.

Katrina Colclasure--Tri-Valley Volleyball
Katrina recorded 27 assists in a hard-fought title match against Heyworth as she quarterbacked the Vikings to the McLean County Tournament championship.

Michael Emberton--Lexington Football
Michael ran two punts back for touchdowns, kicked five extra points and a 40-yard field goal and caught a two-point conversion pass in the Minutemen's win at Carlyle to cap a 9-0 regular season.

 Dakota Springer--Heyworth Volleyball
Dakota registered 45 kills, 34 digs and 15 aces in five matches to lead the Hornets to the tournament title at Edinburg.

Logan Stauffer--U-High Golf
With an improbable comeback--individually and as a team--Logan became the Pioneers' first state golf medalist thanks to a one-under-par final round to lead U-High to a seventh-straight state title.

 Lauren Seyller--Bloomington Volleyball
Lauren recorded 52 kills in five matches at St. Charles East, earning her all-tournament honors.

Hayden Hoerdemann--Central Catholic Soccer
Hayden has scored 12 goals in 13 matches, bringing his season total entering the week to 23 goals and seven assists.

 Lauren English--U-High Golf
Lauren fired a three-over-par 75 at Railside Golf Club in Gibson City to lead the Pioneers to another Corn Belt Conference Tournament title.

Alex Burge--Bloomington Golf
Alex repeated as medalist in last week's Big 12 Conference Tournament in Danville.

 Valerie Nichol--U-High Volleyball
Valerie led the Pioneers with 36 kills during the Intercity tournament, just one behind previous Athlete of the Week Alina Agamy of Bloomington, as U-High, Bloomington and Normal West shared the title.

T.J. Stinde--Lexington Football
T.J. ran wild again in a win over Tremont, amassing 337 yards on 32 yards with five touchdowns.

Kaitlin Reid--Normal West Golf
Kaitlin set a school nine-hole record by blazing through the Kellogg course in Peoria with an even-par 35.

Jase Wilson--Heyworth Football
Jase rushed for 160 yards on 22 carries with three touchdowns in a 38-24 win over Dee-Mack.

Samantha Holmes--Normal West Swimming
Samantha broke the school record in the 500 freestyle by eight seconds with a time of 5:05.23, in her high school swimming debut.

Sam Napolitano--Normal Community Soccer
Sam collected two goals and two assists in a 6-1 victory over Champaign Centennial.

Alina Agamy--Bloomington Volleyball:
Alina collected 11 kills and 15 digs in a three-set win over Intercity rival Normal West.

Nick Paglucia--U-High Soccer:
Nick scored a hat trick in the Pioneers' 4-0 win over Bloomington to clinch the Intercity tournament championship.

Lindsay Gendron--Normal Community Swimming
Lindsay debuted in record-breaking fashion, clocking a 24.15 in the 50-yard freestyle in one of her two wins in a dual meet at Peoria Richwoods.

T.J. Stinde--Lexington Football
