The McLean County State's Attorney's Office will see a change in leadership next week. Starting July first, Kim Campbell will leave her role as First Assistant State's Attorney to become the McLean County Public Defender. Taking over the First Assistant post will be Jane Foster. State's Attorney Bill Yoder says Foster is a 2001 graduate of the Regent University Law School in Virginia. She's currently the supervisor of the Domestic Violence Division of the office, and supervises the prosecution of child sex offenders.

Yoder says in her First Assistant role, Foster will supervise all felony and misdemeanor cases in the county. She'll be the primary contact between local law enforcement and the state's attorney's office.
