BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder has identified a woman who died in a fatal crash on West Market Street.

Kelli J. Roseberry, 41, of Bloomington was pronounced dead at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center Tuesday at 11:30 p.m., according to a news release.  Yoder said preliminary autopsy results indicate the cause of death as cervical spinal injuries due to the crash.  Toxicology results are pending.

Bloomington Police were called for a single vehicle accident on West Market Street, west of Brock Drive.  When officers arrived they located a vehicle that ran off the road and into a ditch.  Authorities located a male passenger who was not injured.  Officers found Roseberry with serious injuries and attempted life saving efforts.  She was transported to Advocate BroMenn.

BPD’s Criminal Investigation’s Division, Crime Scene Unit, and Accident Reconstruction Team arrived shortly after the accident to assist in the crash investigation.

I was a grade-schooler during the Civil Rights 1960s. I watched Birmingham demonstrators hosed and the Selma – Montgomery…

COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
