Woman identified in fatal crash near Bellflower

BELLFLOWER – The victim of a fatal crash in southeast McLean County over the weekend has been identified.

Coroner Kathy Yoder said Jessica Hostert, 31, of Steeleville, Illinois was the driver and sole occupant of a car that collided with a sport utility vehicle Sunday before 8:10 p.m. near Bellflower.  The crash happened near 4000 East and 200 North Road.

Preliminary autopsy results indicate Hostert died from multiple blunt force injuries, according to Yoder.

Three people in the SUV were treated at an area hospital. Their conditions are not available.

The crash is still under investigation by the coroner’s office and Illinois State Police.
