ISP: 11 people injured after crash in Tazewell County

TAZEWELL COUNTY – Illinois State Police said a crash Monday morning on Interstate 155 in Tazewell County left 11 people injured.

In a news release, ISP said at around 10 a.m. a semi-truck struck the back of a charter bus on northbound I-155 near the Delavan exit.

The semi driver and 10 of the 29 passengers on the charter bus were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, according to state police.

ISP said the crash is still under investigation.
